About Mark

Mark Deutschmann started selling real estate in 1986, founding Village Real Estate Services in 1996 and Core Development Services in 2003. Today, VILLAGE employs over 300 agents and staff.

Mark recognized Nashville’s “it factor” long before the city was deemed one of the hottest places to live in the U.S. A true visionary, he has helped revitalize Nashville’s Hillsboro Village, Germantown and 12South neighborhoods.

Ever engaged in the community, Mark is the past president of Greenways for Nashville and serves as chair for the Urban Land Institute in Nashville. The Village Fund, the charitable arm of VILLAGE, has surpassed $2 million in donations back to the Nashville community.

Mark also received the Community Service award from the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors in 2013 and the Sustainable Tennessee Award from the Tennessee Environmental Council in 2014. He has undergraduate degrees in zoology and Spanish and an MBA in international management.

Mark released his first book, One-Mile Radius, in August of 2017.

Mark and his wife, Sherry, reside in Hillsboro Village.
